University of Michigan · Center for Academic Innovation
By continuing, you agree to participate in the ExploreBlue pilot program, an AI-powered academic advising tool developed at the University of Michigan. Please read the following before proceeding.
Beta software
ExploreBlue is an experimental tool under active development. Responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent. Do not rely solely on this tool for official academic decisions — always verify with your academic advisor or the official U-M Course Guide.
Feedback participation
As a beta participant, you may be asked to complete brief feedback surveys or ratings during or after your session. Your feedback is voluntary but greatly appreciated and helps improve the tool for all U-M students.
Data collection & research use
Your questions, conversation inputs, and any feedback submitted during this pilot will be logged and may be used for University of Michigan academic research purposes, including improving AI advising systems and understanding student course planning behavior. Data is stored securely on U-M infrastructure.
Privacy & anonymization
Where data is used in research outputs or shared with collaborators, it will be anonymized or de-identified in accordance with U-M IRB standards and applicable privacy policies. Your data will not be sold or shared with third-party commercial entities.
Withdrawal
Participation is voluntary. You may discontinue use at any time. To request deletion of previously collected data, contact the ExploreBlue team at exploreblue@umich.edu.
